THE TEST OF MOVING FORWARD

THE TEST OF MOVING FORWARD

Isaiah 48:10  Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

The Plan of God for our life is to move forward. Let this settle in your mind today .

But Sometimes Whenever God is taking you to an uncommon Place , He Will Decides to take you through Some road that may seem to be rough .

His intention is good and kind , it’s for good purposes,  Only those that endure the test would be glorified.

THE TEST HERE IS referring to the fact that to eat honey in the rock , you won’t mind the effort it will take, and you won’t look at the mouth of the axe .

“honey out of the rock” is an expression found in the Bible that describes God’s ability to bring sweetness out of a seemingly impossible situation.

It is a powerful image that speaks about the transformative power of God’s grace and mercy in our lives.

Meaning that God can suddenly turn things around when we pass the test or endure the test of moving forward to the end .

It is Dangerous to be in a haste , it is dangerous to be in a hurry,  It is dangerous to abandon the will of God because of what you are going through.

It pays to patiently wait Upon God .

WHEN WE CHOSE THE PATH OF HASTEN

1 . It Will lead you to make a terrible Decision that would later have negative consequences on our life.

2. When we rush through life, we will miss opportunities that could have been beneficial to us.

3. It Will push us into the trap of the devil , that coming out will only be by God’s mercy .

4 . It will have a drastic consequence on your family and disconnect you from helpers of purpose and destiny.

5. It Will make you lose the blessings that God has promised you .

EXAMPLE OF PEOPLE THAT WAS IN HASTE :

1. Abraham and Sarah: In Genesis 16, Sarah was unable to conceive .

so she suggested that Abraham have a child with her maidservant, Hagar.

Abraham agreed, and Hagar became pregnant.

However, this decision caused conflict and tension in their household, and ultimately led to the birth of Ishmael, who became a thorn in the side of Isaac, the son God had promised to Abraham and Sarah.

“And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.” – Genesis 16:2 (KJV)

2. King Saul:

In 1 Samuel 13, Saul was waiting for Samuel to arrive and offer a sacrifice before going into battle.

However, when Samuel did not arrive on time, Saul became anxious and offered the sacrifice himself.

WHICH was a violation of God’s law. This act of haste cost Saul his kingdom.

“And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him. And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.” – 1 Samuel 13:8-9 (KJV)

PAYING THE PRICE OF MOVING FORWARD.

Sometimes in life, we need to take risks When we are sure OF what God is showing us.

This can apply to many different situations, such as starting a new job or business that God is leading us to .

Or Making a major life Decision that God is leading us to make . Though it may be very difficult. But it pays to Obey God.

In the story of David and Goliath.

When David faced the giant Goliath, he was afraid but he also had faith in God.

He trusted that God would help him defeat Goliath, and he moved forward with courage and determination.

David’s faith and willingness to take a risk ultimately led to his victory and the nation of Israel began to sing his praises .

You won’t manifest until some Goliath of your life and destiny is confronted and conquered.

Some of this Goliath are self made obstacles,  they are inner giants that can frustrate the grace of God upon your life .

EXAMPLES OF THIS ARE :

1 .SECRETS SIN

2. fear.

4  negative self-talk,
