REVIVAL OF THE WOUNDED WARRIOR

2 Samuel 1:19

The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!

2 Samuel 1:27

How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!

Beloved We are surrounded with a wounded warrior 

We are surrounded by wounded stars 

We are surrounded by wounded glory 

We are Surrounded by wounded anointed 

Because we live at a Time that the devil is effortlessly firing arrows 🏹  against the chosen vessels of God .

We should not deceive ourselves,  because the manifestation of this Spiritual wound is becoming more obvious in the body of Christ .

We are no longer occupying the place of power and authority,  a negative shift has taken place. 

This Negative shift is the mystery behind so much dryness and so much nominal services. 

We have forgotten that power and Sin are great enemies. 

We have forgotten that you can’t separate Godly obedience from anointing and power .

Exercising power and authority as of old can never be possible if you continue to neglect the faith as of old .

When we are talking about a wound in this context, we are not talking about a physical wound.

 Even when a man has been wounded spiritually, there are some manifestations physically.

Sometimes, it manifests in the character. 

Sometimes, it appears in the words of the person. 

Sometimes it manifests in the area of emptiness. 

Sometimes it appears when the person is powerless. 

Sometimes it appears when it seems all doors and heaven are closed.

The enemy of our souls does not sleep nor slumber,  he is like a hungry lion , looking for whom to devour and We can only defeat him when we remain on our watch tower without giving room to negligence. 

How many people are still in their watchtower?

How many are still their garments holy and clean?

How many are Still faithful in their place of Assignment. 

Beloved,  we can’t live to please the flesh and still expect to be pulling down the stronghold of the enemy .

We can’t walk in power if the work of the flesh still controls us .

We can’t take over territory if our light is not shining in this dark world. 

It is time to rise and cry out for the Revival of our life. 

Where are your fires 

Where are your passions 

Where are your Zeal

Where are your heavenly vision

Where are your tears and cry for souls

Can’t We See that the devil is recruiting more and more people and destroying their life .

While we keep crawling without taking our place. 

Arise and take your place .

You must take dominion.

You must take control

Stop bowing to things you don’t have to bow to

Stop accepting things you don’t have to accept

Bring your body under control

Bring your mind under control

Bring your spirit under control

Watch what you say

Get your attitude together

Stand for righteousness

Stand for holiness

Uphold God’s word

WHAT CAUSED THE WOUND OF THE WARRIOR. 

🔥 THE FIERY SERPENT OF TEMPTATION 

Temptations must happen. 

It is a normal thing that must come on the path of God’s children. 

And the enemy that you are contending with will always tempt you.

 And the purpose of the temptation is to pull you out or distract you or entice you to leave the presence of God.

That serpent of temptation is an obstacle that hindered Adam and Eve from their continuity in the garden of Eden. 

And the devil is still in the business of tempting the soldiers of Christ so that the presence of God can depart from their life.

🔥 RELYING ON OLD FIRE

That is, you don’t go for fresh renewal and release of God’s endowments. You just rely on the old fire.

“I received it in 1918”

“I received it in 1960”

“I have received it and I don’t need it again.”

When you rely on old fire, you will miss an opportunity to receive fresh touch from God.

And once you don’t have a consistent touch and filling of God, there is going to be a big problem. 

This is because when God keeps on touching you, it gives you energy to overcome the enemy of your soul.

When you rely on old fire, you are opening the floodgates of defeat.

🔥 REFUSING TO TAKE CAUTION

When you are driving and you lack the understanding of all the sign cautions, you are exposed to accidents and untimely death.

🔥 IGNORING THE CAUTION SIGNS 

When you ignore caution signs, there is going to be a problem in the spiritual realm. 

🔥 VENTURING ON A MISSION YOU ARE NOT DIVINELY SENT FOR.

Samson was found in a strange land not sent divinely by God but was there because of a strange woman. 

And from there, he went into prison. 

Right there, in that strange land, his spiritual eyes were removed and he was sent to prison and from there he died after conquering those enemies when he repented.

🔥 SLEEPING ON DUTY POST

That is the case of many of God’s children. They are sleeping in their spiritual duty post.

🔥 NOT VALUING THE MASTER’S COMMAND

“This is where to go.”

“This is how to do it.”

“This is what I want you to do.”

But they didn’t listen. They followed their own way. And this has led to the wound of many of God’s army.

🔥 DISCOURAGEMENT 

When the battle is against you; when things turn as if all the world is against you; when you are so discouraged, you are exposed at that moment. Discouragement attracts the enemy.

🔥 CELEBRATING WHEN THE  BATTLE IS NOT IVER

Many are already celebrating as if they are already in heaven. 

They think that they have already arrived. They don’t need teaching; prayer; discipline; correction and training.

WHO ARE THE WOUNDED WARRIORS ?

1 . They Are Joseph But in the Prison .

2 . They are Esther But Locked by the devil

3. They Are Deborah But in chains 

4 . They Samson But in Delilah’s Den 

5 . They are Jabez Whose Life is full of limitations but destiny for enlargement. 

6 . Ecclesiastes 10:7

I have seen servants on horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.

7. They Are Daniel but locked up with chains of Dullness. 

8 . They Are David but hidden in exile .

■ These are VOICES in their generation. A voice that is supposed to stand out in the generation that we are. It is a voice that will silence:

the voice of the devil;

the voice of darkness;

the voice of sin and iniquity.

■ These are WARRIORS ordained to:

Be liberators; 

Set captives free;

Deliver the oppressed; 

Elevate the cast down;

Wake up the sleeping giants.

But they have been wounded through sin and compromise. 

This is why anyone that will go far with God must be careful. And must avoid what will make God turn against him or what will give God displeasure. 

But this is the good news. There is a promise for restoration.

Jeremiah 30:16-19 (KJV)  

“Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again 

the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwelling places; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.

And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.”

EIGHT (8) THINGS YOU MUST HAVE IN MIND IF YOU WILL BE HEAL AS A WOUNDED WARRIOR 

1.YOU MUST REALISE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN WOUNDED.

If you say, “No, I have no problem.” God will leave you to yourself. 

2. YOU MUST BELIEVE THAT IT IS NEVER TOO LATE FOR YOU

The prodigal son didn’t say, “Because I have wasted everything, my father will not accept me back.” No! He believed that it is never too late.

Say, “It is not too late for me.”

3. YOU MUST LEAVE THE FAR COUNTRY AND GO TO THE MASTER.

Anytime you embark on a journey that you are not divinely sent for; anytime you make a choice and decision that goes against God’s own aim, decision and plan for your life, it is a far away country.

So you must leave the far country and go back to the Master.

4. YOU MUST BOW TO HIS AUTHORITY AND SURRENDER YOUR WILL TO HIS LORDSHIP 

The prodigal was ready. He said in;

Luke 15:18 (KJV)  

“I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,”

Luke 15:19 (KJV)  

“And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.”

But he didn’t hire him as a servant. But he accepted him as a son.

It may be that you have lost the birthright or sonship through sin. If you can return back, there will be restoration.

5. YOU MUST INVITE THE GREAT PHYSICIAN TO HEAL YOUR WOUND.

6. DON’T DEPART FROM HIS PRESENCE ANYMORE. 

You must remain with Him.

7. YOU MUST BE ACTIVE IN OBEDIENCE AND COMPLETE SUBMISSION.

8. YOU MUST LIVE AS HIS REPRESENTATIVE.

That is, you represent Him.

“I am of Christ.”

“I am here to represent Christ.”
