THE KING IS COMING

Luke 17:34-36 KJV
“I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

[35] Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

[36] Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”

When We look around us and see the events that are happening around in the world , it is giving signs to believers that we are in the last days .

Jesus is coming Again to take away those that are living For His Glory .

He is coming to take away those that refused to be stained and defiled by the corruption of this world.

All the Prophecy of the Scriptures are fulfilled before our very eyes , which is a caution and a sign that believers must watch their garment if it’s pure and holy because unrighteousness shall not see the Lord.

Matthew 24:36 KJV

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man , no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”

It means that He can come at any time. It means that Jesus can even come right now.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 KJV
“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”

If the day of the Lord is coming like a thief in the night, it is going to come suddenly. It means, this is not the time to be careless with your soul.

Nobody Can Predict or Know the Time the King of Kings Would Come Again.

In the past, those who have tried and failed to date the Lord’s coming have sought to account for their failure in two ways.

Some have explained that the date they set was accurate, but that the Lord’s coming was a “spiritual” coming.

Others have scrambled to cover themselves by admitting to a miscalculation, and setting yet another date.

REASONS FOR THE RAPTURE .

1 . To Fulfil His Promises Of Taking Us to His Father’s House .

John 14:1-4

2. To Take Away The Bride From Witnessing His Great Wrath .

1 Thessalonians 1:10

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

3. A REUNION OF BELIEVERS, BOTH LIVING AND DEAD –

Thessalonians 4:17-18.

1. WHERE They Will meet

“in the clouds” + “in the air” Greek has no article in front of “clouds”

Not referring to rain clouds, but clouds of glory .

2. HOW It will happen

“caught up” – “to seize or snatch away” –

John 6:15 – “When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make Him a king…”

Acts 8:39 “the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip…”

Rev. 12:5 “her child was caught up unto God”

1 Cor. 15:52 “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye…”

4. TO CONFIRM THAT THE FUTURE IS MORE BLESSED THAN THE PRESENT.

5. TO TAKE AWAY ALL OUR WORRIES AND FEARS .

It eliminates mental DIFFICULTIES –

It eliminates emotional DEPRESSION –

It eliminates personal DEFEAT –

1 Thessalonians 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober

6. TO EXPOSE HYPOCRISY

Job 8:13

So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite’s hope shall perish:

Job 13:16

He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.

Job 15:34

For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.

Job 20:5

That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

7. To Separate Sheep From Goat

Matthew 25:33

And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

8. To Reward His Faithful Children.

Colossians 3:24

Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Hebrews 10:35

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

2 John 1:8

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

HOW CAN WE BE READY?

WE HAVE TO LIVE IN THE LIGHT OF HIS FIRST COMING

Christ is coming and you have to live your life ready for Him, always ready.

YOU MUST BE DISCERNING

Because this is a time for a lot of false prophets and false churches, doctrines and false teachings, they are looking for people with simple minds to deceive and mislead. “Many shall come in my name”, the Lord said don’t go after them, they are liars.
