QUENCHING THE FIERY DARTS OF THE WICKED.

Ephesians 6: 10- 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Beloved it is Dangerous not to Realise yet that this is a dark hour in the calendar of the World .

The Devil knows the time is short , this is why the devil is also working hard to ensure the captivity of everyone in the world.

Unfortunately Many Believers Are Still Sleeping, And this is making the gates of hell to celebrate .

We all know that Satan is the adversary of God and man.

Therefore, we can assume that the wicked one is referring to Satan.

In the parable of the Sower, the birds devoured the seeds that fell by the wayside.

Jesus later told His disciples that the bird referred to the wicked one who came and snatched away the seed (Word of God) out of the hearts of people who heard the Word but did not understand it.

(See Matthew 13: 1-23)

Satan or the wicked one is walking About like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

Like a hungry lion, Satan will pounce and attack his victims, and he will also shoot fiery darts to weaken his prey.

These fiery darts not only pierce the victims but they burst into flames and burn them to death.

These are the darts that defiled Satan and dragged him down from his once lofty position in heaven.

Satan used these same darts to shoot at God’s people to gradually poison their mind until eventually they were destroyed.

Our Failure to Maintain a warfare posture is encouraging the enemy to keep striking the evil darts.

HIS EVIL WORKS .

》 That Brother is a fire before but the fire is dead , the darts of the wicked are behind it.

》That Radical Man of God has fallen into Adultery, the darts of the wicked is behind it .

》 That Sister that is burning 🔥 For God is now Worldly , Arrogant, the Darts of the wicked is behind it .

》 I prayed fervently before, but it is hard now , the darts of the wicked are behind it .

》I can Praise God before but now there is no inspiration, the darts of the wicked are behind it .

》 I can Read and Understand the Bible before , but now it is very hard , the darts of the wicked are behind it .

》 Evangelism is My passion before , but now is no longer in my mind , the darts of the wicked are behind it .

Many We See in the church today’s that are no longer doing well have the darts of the wicked in their inner man .

Is weakening them , is killing them Spiritually, is making them misbehave.

If we are mocking them and celebrating their downfall is a sign that we ourselves have received the darts of the wicked in our life .

It is the Spirit of Witchcraft to rejoice and celebrate the fall of others, such would never make heaven .

This is time to rise up and stand in the gap , restore that church, revive that ministry, restore that brother , revive that sister .

That should be the heart cry of everyone that is still standing in the faith .

Take Heed lest you Fall .

God’s Word shows us how to prevent the powers of darkness from taking advantage over us.

In fact, the Bible not only shows us what we are to look for, but how to respond to Satan’s schemes when we are attacked.

When we submit ourselves to the defensive directions God’s Word,

The Holy Spirit alerts us to every attack of the enemy and equips us with the grace we need to overcome in the moment of our testing.

This grace is given to all those who humble themselves and bow their will to the power of the cross (James 4:6).

WHAT IS THE DARTS OF THE DEVIL THAT MUST QUENCH.

1 . THE DARTS OF PRIDE .

The Bible says that pride goes before destruction and an haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18).

Therefore, if Satan can shoot some pride at you then most naturally you will be defeated and eventually destroyed.

Even if by your own hands you manage to climb to the top, as soon as pride gets inside of you, your downfall is certain.

2. THE DARTS OF SELF DECEPTION

Deception follows pride. They both go hand in hand.

When a person is filled with pride, he first deceived himself by thinking that he is something when he is nothing. (See Galatians 6:3)

The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord. (Obadiah 1:3-4)
