IN THE YEAR THAT KING UZZIAH DIED, I SAW THE LORD .
Isaiah 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
Beloved, I discovered that whenever God intended to change a man’s story , something had to die in that person for the plan of God to come to pass .
God allowed some certain situations to eliminate your ego so that he can use you for his own glory.
Sometimes in order for us to get a proper view of who God is , something in our lives has to die.
Usually, it is something that we hold on so dearly that keeps us from seeing God for who He really is.
II. “I SAW LORD.”
A. Sometimes God has to remove our idols before we can see Him.
1. We have put our trust in our job, bank account, or some person.
2. That person or thing has become our security; we rely on it or them.
God had to remove his idol before he could reveal Himself.
1. Dangerous to get our eyes on people.
a. God will many times allow people to fail.
When you are far from the reality of what is in Christ , you must ask yourself, is there anything in me that must die .
Beloved what I am telling you today is nothing but reality .
Your children may not think straight until some certain friends leave their life .
We won’t be Serious about our vision in life until certain relationships die , because their existence will limit you and stop you from manifesting in life .
Until Some Certain Things died in you.
God will not Release His Power into your life.
God Will not Promote you to the next level
GOD will not anoint you
Your eyes would not be open to see what you needed to see that will cause a shift in your life .
The Year that Uzziah died , I saw the Lord.
It might be that the reason why you haven’t seen what God really wants you to see is because the death of certain things hasn’t happened yet.
Some Breakups are God’s own way of Stopping you from going on further in your journey of blindness.
He breakup to set you up for His own purpose
He pulls down so that you can build after his own pattern .
He destroys so that things can be constructed according to his desire .
He kills so that He can bring to life , that which is profitable unto His kingdom .
How far can you go when you still hold on until things that need to die .
Such a man can’t go far in God’s own agenda.
Such a man Will only be wasting His divine timing.
1. “THEN SAID I, WOE IS ME!”
A. In seeing God, he now saw himself in a new light.
1. It is so easy for us to get an exalted opinion of ourselves.
a. I’m not so bad myself.
b. I’m pretty good.
c. We are looking at ourselves in the dim light of the world about us.
2. See yourself in the light of God as He sits upon His throne
Isaiah had been running up and down , shouting here and there , but the day he saw the Lord, He didn’t say woe unto this nation , He rather said “Woe is Me”
Beloved you may be deceiving yourself without you knowing, but the day the Lord shows you the vision of yourself that’s when you will discover that something has to die in your life .
Until you See the Lord, that’s when you may now discover that:
》 You talk Too Much
》 You are not wise in the use of Time
》 You are not Spending According to His mind
》You are sleeping Too Much
》 You are not Serious With His assignment
Joseph And Mary were instructed to run away from their own city and hide in a strange land for the safety of the Saviour, it is not that the power of God is limited, No.
Sometimes you have to flee , the wisdom of God says ,Flee .
God might be saying, flee from that sinful relationship and I will reveal my will to you .
God may be saying to deny yourself of food and seek my face in fasting and prayers and I will reveal my mind to you .
God sometimes takes away comfort so that we can feel that we really need him .
When Lot left Abraham, Abraham heard the voice of God.
Sometimes some people must leave your life , before you can move forward in life .
Some people are enemies of progress but you accommodate them , until God sends them off , you may not see what God wants you to see.
There were several occasions where it was until someone left a relationship or friendship, that’s when he started to think straight and make good decisions.
