GREAT DESTINY AND PITFALLS TO AVOID. PART 1
(The pitfall of Immorality)
Proverbs 6:32-33 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.
A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.
Proverbs 7:21-27 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.
He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;
Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.
Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.
Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.
Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
It is no longer a new thing whenever we hear that a destiny is destroyed .
Because on a daily basis people transact their destinies for foolish things .
People transact their destiny for a little pleasure , not minding what will be the outcome of their choice.
Beloved, we have many stars that have been shut down .
We have many wounded destinies and glory .
We have many that have lost uncommon favour of God .
Many have lost rear Spiritual privilege and access .
Many have lost the stream of inspiration because they dine with Jezebel, because they sacrifice their treasure on the altars on Immorality.
The Pitfall that has swallowed many destiny is the Pitfall of sexual immorality.
Many youths are still unaware of the dangers of premarital sex like me in my youthful days.
They go about indulging in it thinking it is normal and is what all youths do.
The devil has decided to catch the youths, young and start destroying them at their most useful age.
Sex involves our mind (soul), because long before sex, In fact the actual act of sex is concluded in the mind before the act.
It involves your spirit because it brings an attraction to the person you have it with.
You give a part of your life to the person, because blood is involved which the physical eye cannot see.
That is how deep the act of sex is. One should count the cost before getting involved in it.
Sexual sins carry generational consequences and you will suffer every sexual seed that you’ve sown if you don’t repent.
Many women today are suffering from childlessness, marital spells etc . Their sexual seeds in the past have germinated to hunt them in their future.
The destinies of many men have been destroyed due to the few minutes of careless sex they had in the past with agents of darkness in the appearance of girls.
Sex is a covenant. Each time you sleep with someone, you have formed a spiritual soul-tie and covenant with that person and you become a shareholder of every curse and bondage they carry in life.
Your body is the temple of God.
1 Cor 6:15-18.1Cor3:9.
What you stand to lose in sexual sin is more than the 5 mins of enjoyment; you stand to lose your life and your destiny.
Everywhere you look in our society today, people are promoting sex.
A short trip to the grocery store, restaurant, gas station, etc often presents you with some display of lustfulness in advertisements and the way people dress.
It’s even hard to avoid it in the privacy of your own home because it is all over television.
Even if you watch the news, you are almost guaranteed so see a commercial that is using sex to grab your attention.
And what is very sad, this behaviour has found its way into the church.
In any given worship service, you can expect to see a woman wearing tight revealing pants, dresses, and low-cut tops.
It is common now to see several unwed pregnant women in church. And there seems to be no concern to correct this behaviour.
(Prov. 6:27-28,32).
THE SPIRITUAL EFFECTS OF SEXUAL IMMORALITY.
1. IT IS A SIN.
1 Thess 4:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication .KJV
1 Cor 6:9
2. THE SIN OF FORNICATION BRINGS MORE SIN.
Most premarital sex ends up in pregnancy, sicknesses, and abandonment or sale of babies.
The rate of abortion has increased because of the increase in premarital sex.
Involving in premarital sex is a sin of it own, but committing abortion is murder which adds to the first sin of fornication.
Some have committed murder before reaching the age of 25 years.
Some of them abandon their babies in dustbins, gutters and other public places, which is an increase to their original sin of fornication.
Some secretly sell their babies to ready buyers who use the babies for rituals.
3. IT CREATES AN UNGODLY SOUL TIE.
A soul tie is an agreement one enters with another that creates a special bond between the two of them.
Sex is not just a casual fun thing as most people think and take it to be. It is much more than that, it involves blood.
When you have sex with a person you have given a part of your life to that person and in return the person has given you part of his life in the spirit realm.
In the spirit realm the two of you have become one.
You start to share things in common.
That is why diseases, sickness, demons and many things pass through during sexual intercourse.
4. IT PASSES DEMONS TO YOU.
5. IT PASSES DEMONS TO YOUR GENERATIONS.
6. PREMATURE PARENTHOOD.
7. It makes you marry the wrong person.
8. It separates you from God : it diminishes your quality of relationship with God, you become scattered and wounded.
9. It will transform your destiny from best to worse.
10. It will take you to hell fire, where you will stay for eternity inside horrible fire, in great pain and regret.
HOW TO AVOID FORNICATION/PREMARITAL SEX.
- Come not into the company of a whorish woman. Pro 5:8
- Discipline your eyes.
- Discipline your tongue from saying anything that would arouse feelings for sex.
- Discipline your heart with all diligence , pray for total purging of your heart.
- Repent from ungodly attire that can provoke lust. Pro 7:10.
- Don’t go to a club house .
- Take heed of mixed dancing, run away from watching dancing that can provoke lust.
- Take heed of lascivious books and pictures, videos that can provoke lust, it bewitches the eyes.
- Labour to get the fear of God into your heart.
- Take delight in the word of God.
- Don’t watch pornography.
- Avoid looking into the eyes of the opposite sex.
- Don’t go to where you will be tempted to fornicate.
- Total separation from everything that defile
